Prices:
Our room rates are per person and day. The arrangement rates are per person and stay. All our prices are to be understood in Euro including VAT (7 % for overnight stay and 19 % for all other services).
Check-in and check-out times:
Your room will be ready for you from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. You can start enjoying the Vital Spa as soon as you check in. If you plan to arrive after 8:00 PM, please let us know in advance so we can take care of everything for you. On the day of departure, your room is available until 11:00 AM.
Early Check-In
Depending on availability, you are welcome to check in from 11:00 AM. The additional charge for hotel services (room, tea house, fitness and spa area) will be provided upon request.
Late Check-Out
Upon request and subject to availability, you can use your room and hotel services (tea house, fitness and spa area) until 3:00 PM. The additional charge will be gladly communicated upon request.

Cancellation protection
If your travel plans change at short notice, for example due to illness or unforeseen events, you are well covered with our cancellation protection.
On request, you can add cancellation protection to your reservation for €3.00 per person per night. Please let us know when you make your booking at the latest.
Cancellation protection applies in the following cases:
1. Serious accident or sudden, acute illness on your part or on the part of a close family member
(spouse/partner, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, grandchildren).
Written confirmation from the attending physician is required.
2. Death in the immediate family
(spouse/partner, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, grandchildren).
3. Delay through no fault of your own due to force majeure or strikes.
4. Significant damage to private property caused by water, fire, burglary, or theft.
Cancellation Terms
If the cancellation protection was not booked and we were not able to sell your room, our cancellation terms take effect. Depending on the time of cancellation, we charge under the following conditions:
1. Individual Bookings
- Up to 14 days before arrival, cancellation is free of charge
- 14 to 7 days before arrival: 50% of the arranged price
- 7 days to 2 days: 70% of the arranged price
- 1 day before arrival, cancellation on the day of arrival, No-show and early departure: 80% of the arranged price
2. Group bookings from 5 rooms
- Up to 6 weeks before arrival, cancellation is free of charge
- Up to 2 weeks before arrival, 50% of the arranged price. Until 2 days before arrival, 70% of the arranged price.
- 1 day before arrival, cancellation on the day of arrival, No-show and early departure: 80% of the arranged price
Payment methods
We accept the following payment methods: Cash, debit card, VISA, Mastercard and American Express.
Parking
Free parking at the hotel, on top and in front of our thermal power station, beneath the hotel at the former sports field.
Guest Tax
The local guest tax of the local health resort administration is currently:
Adults: 2,20 €
Severly disabled 100% and accompanying persons: 0,95 € on request at the city of Elzach, no later than the day of departure
Business guests: free
Children up to the age of 16: free
The guest tax is not included in the prices and is calculated separately.
You will receive the KONUS guest card for this. Experience the Black Forest free of charge by bus and train.
Arrive, leave your car and go free of charge to go on a hike, discovery tour or shopping tour without worrying about parking spaces: that´s waht the unique KONUS guest card stands for.
It is a free ticket for buses and trains in the Black Forest holiday region, from Pforzheim to Basel, Karlsuhe to Waldshut, criss-cross through nine transport associations – as often as you like during your vacation and completely free of charge! So nobody has to worry about fare and tickets.
Children
Dear families,
Many guests visit us to escape everyday life and recharge their batteries in a relaxed atmosphere. To ensure that everyone can enjoy this retreat, we attach great importance to peace and quiet and mutual consideration. For this reason, the sauna area and relaxation rooms are reserved exclusively for adults and young people aged 16 and over – we ask for your understanding in this matter.
Families with children are very welcome! Please accompany your children and ensure a quiet atmosphere in the public areas. There are numerous excursion destinations in our area waiting to be explored by young and old explorers alike – we will be happy to give you suitable tips for your family time at reception.
Holiday with dog
The ElzLand Hotel Pfauen has a limited number of rooms available for guests with dogs. To guarantee the availability of such a room, simply let us know when you make your reservation that you will be bringing your dog with you. We cannot guarantee accommodation without prior notification. We ask for your understanding. We charge € 20.00 per day for your four-legged friend without food.
Due to hygiene and sanitary regulations, it is not possible to accommodate dogs in all hotel rooms or take them into the restaurant or spa area. Your dog is of course very welcome on the sun terrace of the restaurant.

Gluten- and lactose-free food is anchored in our standard.
We do not have a diet kitchen and can therefore be restricted to further allegies and intolerances and only deal with the approval of our chef.
